Caught up with Rizal

 

Rizal is a good friend of mine, one of my twitter buddies whom I haven’t seen in ages. So workaholic and I decided to go on a movie & dinner date during Merdeka weekend.

10 minutes after the movie “UP” has started, he nudged my arm and asked me.

“ Are you crying already?”

“Nooo… but almost. Are you?” I was gonna turn sideway to search for that puppy expression.

“Don’t look!”

I overheard a mild sniff beside me.

I love the movie “UP”.

Guinea Pig for Shooting

Last weeked, I was at Binjai Residency with my Microsoft ex-bosses to catch up but it turned out to be a shooting session instead. The boys wanted to test out their newly bought Nikon lens and being the only girl there, I instantaneously became their object or I call it the guinea pig.

I never thought I have the face that will look good on photographs or even in real life, although I’ve been repeated told that apparently, I have photogenic features.

Oh well.

Don’t know how to pose though…. Beng Loon and John Heng said I could do whatever I want. So I basically  look up, look down, look sideways, smile, don’t smile… Man, this is just so not me.

So they kept on snapping… …

Suddenly they stopped.

John asked, “Pull a sexy look for me now”

I couldn’t help but burst out in laughter.

 I am fat, cute, ugly, adorable anything but sexy!

C’mon you gotta be kidding me

So there. My completed my very first “modeling” shoot and I promise it will be the last!

Celebrated Winnie's birthday party at 7atenine, Ascott Hotel.

I’ve always liked 7atenine @ Ascott Hotel, a nice place to chill out. Jay always complains to me that the place is way too quiet, sometimes he and his mates have to end up blank staring at each other. lol

Well that’s the whole point isn't it, a place where you can hold a decent conversation without having to shout on top of your lung and most importantly, the room is very well ventilated.
i.e. no smoke stench on your shirt when you walk out of the place!

ADIDAS King Of The Road

Yes yes yes I made it and I'm still in one piece! haha I clocked in the timing of 11km in 1 hour 20 mins. To add icing on the cake, I also got a medal! Woohoo!

When I reached home this morning, my brother from another parents Kennedy Goh called. So so nice to have someone delivered an iPod Shuffle to your doorstep just because he heard about my request in fb and that I'd need it for the marathon tomorrow.

Vintry, Damansara

Vintry at Medan Damansara is one of my favourite wine joint to catch up with friends. They have a wide selection of wines from all over the world at a very reasonable price, not to mention they serve great food too.

If you are a pork lover, you must try their specialty caramelised siew yoke. I'm not a pork fan so can't say much here.

My colleague, Jeli introduced me to the newly opened Duke Highway which is just right behind my office. Ever since then, my daily toll fees has doubled but I saved at least 20 - 40 minutes on commuting. But you know what's the best part? I get to enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets views!
